Queen's Arcade, Interior
3rd August 1966.
View looks from the upper balcony across the interior of the Queen's Arcade in the direction of the Lands Lane entrance. On the left is a sign for the Handbag Hospital, while a branch of Boots the Chemists is visible on the right. The Queen's Arcade, designed by Edward Clark of London, was built c1889 on a site previously occupied by the Rose and Crown public house; it is still there today, running between Briggate and Lands Lane.
