Street directory of Leeds 1817 shows James Pickles of this inn. His wife was Elizabeth nee Wilson. These were my ancestors. After his death his second wife Sarah is there. She died in 1830 and I have copy of her Will. A son William, took over the place. There are Memorials of the inn at West Yorkshire Land Registry, Wakefield.
