Roundhay Park, queue for bathing pool
29th May 1944.
View shows a huge crowd of people queuing for the bathing pool at Roundhay Park on Whit Monday 1944. As a bank holiday it was an opportunity for families to get out and enjoy themselves away from the troubles of wartime.
